sports day today was obviously a total bore. there wasn't even a milo van this year cos apparently, nestle doesn't operate on mondays. so horrible! and blue house won again this year, which is like, so unexpected. red house would probably have won if they didn't take into account the number of participants from each of the houses. anyway, congrats swee ting, you sweet thing, for getting in as runner-up for the overall individual champion for c div, or whatever award that is, although you probably will never read my blog.

my dreams to learn to play the drums have been deferred! i'm like a dried-up raisin in the sun, or whatever it is that that langston hughes's poem goes. fees in yamaha are so freaking expensive! or so that's what courtney kheng says lah. and there's like, nowhere else! so i'll probably hafta make do with learning to play the guitar. although i'll probably suck as a musician :/
